Patenga Sea Beach has become a famous tourist spot.  It is very close to the Bangladesh Naval Academy of the Bangladesh Navy. The Shah Amanat International Airport is situated very close of these spots. Its width is narrow and swimming in the seas is not recommended.

Both Sea Beach are located 14 kilometers south of the port city of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Its are near the mouth of the Karnaphuli River.
